IC209 Chocolate Florals Pendant

WOW! Just in time! I just got home from picking my son up from the skating rink tonight, and checked to see if my favorite challenge came out. Ok, need to ask a question? How old would you let your child stay at the skating rink with his friends and wait until he (my son is 12 yrs old) calls you to pick him up about 9:30, that was the designated time for all parents to pick their child up? I guess I am just a nervous mom, but he did ok! Ok, on with the Inspiration Challenge. I really like it when they come out early, thanks Stef! We were to chose something that inspires us from the Lady Charm Boutique and create a card. I chose the Chocolate Florals Pendant here.

This took me a couple of times, I almost forgot how to emboss. I stamped the image (a stamp I got at a garage sale along time ago and never used it) using versamark on white c/s. Embossed with black powder. Next, I sponged with teal ink several times to get the look I wanted all around. I then used the versamark again (getting nervous at this point, hoping it works...been a long time) all over the embossed image and the teal area. Embossed with clear powder. I then mounted it to the base of the card. I think it looks ok, my son says its the opposite of what the real picture looks like! Thanks for having the early post and for dropping by! Have a wonderful weekend!
