Happy Halloween! Our kids had their Halloween night last night because of the OU SOONERS football game here in Norman. The city thought it would be safer for our kids not to Trick or Treat on the actual day because of all the traffic and drinking drivers, so they moved the day to last night. Worked out well! Congrats Ms. Boo, she is The Featured Stamper and what a wonderful gallery she has. What a perfect night for her. We were to create a card using 3 different things on our cards from one of her cards. Although, I didn't create a card using the Halloween theme, but I chose a Christmas card. Here is her card I cased . I actually started on the image awhile ago and had the cuttlebug stashed away. You gotta have those, right? I started out by using the CB Snowflake folder on white c/s. I layered it onto kraft and red c/s. Same gpes for the strip. I added a thin ribbon to the bottom before I mounted the strip. I pierced all the way around the kraft c/s and the little circle of the sentiment. I went back around using the white galaxy pen around the edges. I stamped the monkey with black ink onto white c/s as well. I colored him with Prismacolor pencils but only used the goo gone and blending stumps on the monkey. I added liquid applique for the white parts of his hat, glove, and boots. I used my CM circle cutter for the circles and cut 2 half circles for the red, just enough to make the outer circle a little bigger. Actually the red and the kraft are the same size cut out. The image is held on using pop dots to give it the 3D effect. I stamped the sentiment which reads "OH WHAT FUN...HAPPY HOLIDAYS" from Studio G. I added the pearl to complete the card. I hope you like it. Have a great night. Thanks for looking!
